The participants of the meeting indicated the traditionally positive development of the Belorussian-Russian scientific cooperation. During the talks Mikhail Myasnikovich thanked Vladimir Yakunin for his active work in the field of science and education, international relations, charity, development of spirituality and strengthening the friendship between nations.
Having discussed the current conditions of world politics, modern crises and security threats, the parties came to the agreement that worthy counter response to challenges is possible in case of the systemic work on information exchange, coordination of actions and working out a single position within inter-parliamentary and inter-governmental structures of the Union State.
Following the meeting, the further ways for more profound interaction in scientific, innovative, trade and economic spheres were defined.
